Located along the Marina Bay waterfront in Singapore, Marina Bay Sands features three cascading hotel towers topped by an extraordinary sky park. At the top of the 55-storey hotel is a 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height. Perched 191 metres above the ground, the pools are made up of 422,000 pounds of stainless steel and can hold 376,500 gallons (1424 cubic metres) of water. [link]

San Alfonso del Mar – The World’s Largest Swimming Pool

San Alfonso del Mar is a resort located in Algarrobo, Chile frequently noted because of its 1,000-meter long, 19-acre outdoor pool, which holds a Guinness world record as the largest in the world. The resort’s large pool utilizes a technology developed by the Chilean company Crystal Lagoons, which uses water pumped from the Pacific Ocean, that is then filtered and treated for supply to the pool.

Nemo 33 – The World’s Deepest Swimming Pool

Nemo 33 is the deepest indoor swimming pool in the world. The pool is located in Brussels, Belgium. Its maximum depth is 34.5 metres (113 ft). It contains 2.78787 million litres of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water maintained at 30 °C (86 °F) and holds several simulated underwater caves at the 10 metres (33 ft) depth level. There are numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look into the pools at various depths. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multi-purpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility, 2004. [link]

Main Pool at Seagaia Ocean Dome

Located in Miyazaki, Japan, the Seagaia Ocean Dome measures 984 feet (300 meters) by 328 feet (100 meters). The dome has the largest retractable roof in the world, which also provides a simulated blue sky even when it’s raining cats and dogs outside.

The Joule Hotel, Dallas

The Joule Hotel is a five-star, 129-room boutique hotel developed by Headington Hotels. Located at 1530 Main Street, between Akard Street and Ervay Street, the building was constructed in 1927 as the Dallas National Bank Building, and was known later as the SPG Building. Positioned at the end of Stone Street Plaza, it is centralized in the Main Street District of downtown Dallas, Texas, and is one of two Gothic high-rises in the city, along with the Kirby Building. The Dallas National Bank completed construction of the office building in 1927.

It has garnered notoriety for its 10th floor pool that cantilevers eight feet over the easement below. The architect of the project was ARCHITEXAS (Architecture, Planning and Historic Preservation, Inc.) in Dallas. [link]
