Tennis: Top Five Biggest Comebacks Of 2011

ATPWorldTour.com reviews the Top 5 comebacks of the 2011 season, beginning with No. 5:

5. Robin Soderling vs Lleyton Hewitt, 6-7(5), 3-6, 7-5, 6-4, 6-4, Wimbledon 2nd RD

Robin Soderling came back from a two-sets deficit for the third time in his career.Lleyton Hewitt had to feel good about his chances after jumping out to a 7-6(5), 6-3 lead against World No. 5 Robin Soderling at Wimbledon. The former World No. 1 had established a two-sets lead 94 times in Grand Slam competition and won all but one of those matches, his sole loss coming to Tommy Robredo at Roland Garros back in 2003.

Soderling, meanwhile, had battled back from a two-sets deficit twice before, most recently in 2005 at Roland Garros. “I tried not to think about the scoreline,” he said. “Instead, I tried to keep looking forward. I know I was playing pretty well. I served well. And if I could just start to move a little bit better, start to return a little bit better than the first two sets, I knew I had a good chance.”

Two games away from defeat at 5-5 in the third set, Soderling broke Hewitt for the first time to begin his comeback, and he broke the Australian at the end of a tight fourth set to level the match.

The 13 Most Dangerous Car Interiors in History

dangerous-interiors-11A lot of what we take for granted in the modern automobile has come along only after a great deal of trial and error—and, perhaps, neglect. Take, for instance, the humble headrest. While a headrest design was patented in 1923, the National Highway Transportation Association only passed a law that all passenger cars should have headrests in 1969—after hundreds of thousands of spine injuries as the result of whiplash. The safety belt was first put to use in horse-drawn carriages in the 1850s, but wouldn't be standard-issue in cars until the early 1960s. Sadly, many of the most basic innovations that are part of every automobile interior today came about this way. Grim, but true. These are the most dangerous car interiors—and a few that were unique for ushering in safety before it was fashionable.

Top Ten Pets [INFOGRAPHIC]

Dogs, cats, turtles, wolves, you name it, someone has had it as a pet. But do you know what the top ten pets are? As you might have guessed dogs are ranked number one closely followed by cats. Personally, I consider dogs to be the best pet, cats, to put it bluntly, just aren’t as fun. A cat in my opinion is only cute when it is a kitten, where a dog simply becomes distinguished as they age.

petsCurrently I own fish, a turtle, and a dog, I have to say out of all of them my dog is the clear winner. While some of the pets are just fun to sit back and observe, a dog allows for interaction, play, relaxation. On a bright sunny day is there anything better than going for a walk with your dog? Perhaps taking a tennis ball and playing a game of fetch? Name one other pet that you can easily do that with, that’s right, you can’t think of one can you?
